World of Jasper
Jasper ,from Owyhee and some other areas which will be described when we get there. Owyhee county is in southern Idaho and part of Eastern Oregon and is packed with gemstone material ranging from Jasper to petrified wood, to precious opal. Quite a few of the Jasper mines are very famous and I will provide you with a good selection of cabochons and if we get lucky some rough. This picture illustrates some of the wide variety of patterns and shapes that are available at Outback and you can see it is "Uniquely Idaho". I will post some individual stones as time permits.
