Amethyst Sceptors

This Amethyst cluster is a "bragging" piece I found in a pocket in the Sierra Nevada. This entire cluster is composed of Smoky Quartz crystals with Amethyst tips, hence the term "Sceptor".I will describe the finding of this pocket and post some of the crystal "Sceptors" available at a later date.
